What we think about Hyperagent AI Agents

When we tested Hyperagent, we got access to this tool while it was still in development, thanks to an invitation from the team behind Airtable. Even though it's not publicly available yet, we wanted to share our experience because this tool really stands out from what's currently on the market.

We started by building our own agent and adding custom instructions for a backlink research task. One of the best features is that once you set up your agent, you can reuse it across different sessions. You can also schedule it or trigger it through Slack, which makes automation really easy. In the settings, we connected various integrations, including our Gmail account, to see how well Hyperagent could work with our existing tools.

Once we launched our agent, Hyperagent delivered what many AI tools have been promising for over a year now: a truly independent agent that operates in its own browser environment. We could actually watch it navigate to Ahrefs, research multiple websites, and when it hit a captcha wall, it simply moved on to another backlink checker without giving up. There was only one moment where it paused and we had to prompt it to keep going, but that was a minor hiccup.

The results were genuinely impressive. Hyperagent produced the most useful list of potential backlink sources we've seen from any tool, carefully avoiding direct competitors. The draft outreach emails it created were well-written and all the links were accurate. It couldn't send emails directly from our inbox, but to be fair, none of the tools we tested could do that either, so this might have been a configuration issue on our end with Google Workspace.

Testing Hyperagent got us thinking about countless ways we could use this technology in our daily work. It's both exciting and a bit unsettling to realize that the next team member we bring on might not be human. The tool isn't publicly available yet, but if you're interested, reach out to us and we'll connect with the Hyperagent team to see if they can add you to their waitlist.

What users think about Hyperagent AI Agents

Since Hyperagent is still in limited access, there isn't much public feedback available yet from a broad user base. However, early testers who have gotten access consistently praise its ability to actually complete multi-step tasks without constant supervision, which sets it apart from many AI agents that require hand-holding at every turn.

Users particularly appreciate that Hyperagent can navigate real websites and adapt when it encounters obstacles, rather than just giving up or throwing an error message. The integration options, especially the ability to trigger agents through Slack, have been highlighted as a major productivity boost for teams already using collaboration tools.

The custom agent creation feature gets positive mentions because it allows users to build specialized agents for recurring tasks, saving time on repetitive setup. Some early adopters have noted that the browser environment feature makes Hyperagent feel more like having an actual assistant rather than just another chatbot.

The main limitation users mention is simply the limited availability, as many people are eager to test it but are stuck on the waitlist. There's also some learning curve mentioned around setting up the right integrations and instructions to get optimal results from your agents.

If you're interested in autonomous AI agents that can handle complex research and outreach tasks, Hyperagent is worth getting on the waitlist for. Reach out to see if you can get early access.
