What we think about Creatify AI Avatars
When we tested Creatify, we found it works well for business owners who want a fast and simple way to make AI avatar videos and user-generated content without needing much creative control. Creatify allows small brands to create UGC videos easily using either their own scripts or letting the AI write them automatically.
The setup process is straightforward - you just upload your website URL and Creatify scans it for basic information and images. However, we noticed it sometimes gets the brand name and description wrong at first, so you need to fix these details manually. We appreciated being able to adjust settings for different social media platforms and pick from various tones and purposes when using the AI script feature. The option to add pauses manually was also helpful.
But we ran into some problems during our testing. Even after we updated our brand description, the AI script generator kept using the old information. This forced us to write our own script instead of relying on the AI. The AI-generated scripts we previewed felt too basic and didn't offer much value anyway.
Once we had our script ready, Creatify created 14 different video versions for us to choose from before rendering. The biggest issue came at the end - even though we used our own script, the final video still felt impersonal and generic. It seemed like Creatify had changed parts of our input without asking. While the automation makes video creation quick and easy, not having control over the final result was annoying. You can adjust some details, but Creatify seems to make its own decisions about the final output, which limits how much you can customize things.
What users think about Creatify AI Avatars
Users generally appreciate Creatify for its speed and ease of use, especially small business owners who need to create video content quickly without hiring expensive production teams. Many users like that they can generate multiple video variations from a single input, giving them options to choose from for their campaigns.
However, users often complain about the lack of control over the final output, similar to what we experienced. Some users find the AI avatars look too artificial for their brand needs. The script generation feature receives mixed reviews, with many users preferring to write their own scripts rather than relying on the AI suggestions.
Users also mention that while the tool is good for basic UGC-style videos, it may not be suitable for brands that need highly polished or very specific messaging. The platform works best for users who prioritize speed and convenience over detailed customization.
