Many adjacent tools like HeyGenuse ElevenLabs for their voice technology. Next is Artlist, which is a All-in-One Creative tool for everything around video production: video & image generation, sound effects, music and AI voices. They offer unique cool effects such as upstairs neighbor or monster. Their price is extremely competitive and through their modular pricing you never overpay. Lovo is also amazing for AI voice generation. We especially appreciate that various voices can be edited at once in the same window and you are not required to stitch them together like a Frankenstein track in the end. There is one tool called VoiceGenerator.io but to be honest we don't recommend it because the generated voices sound very robotic and the interface seems to be stuck in the 90s. If you don't want to go "Back To The Future" but prefer to test free voice generators in this century, we recommend testing the free plans of Artlist, Canva, or LovoAI.

You can just upload the video you want to dub to the AI tool. ElevenLabs lets you dub videos with up to 45min, but this will take quite some time. It can translate your video into 32 different languages and will preserve tone, emotion and timing. Quite impressive! It will also detect and assigned different speakers different voices. And what's truly baffling to us is that it will keep background music as it is (we had learned back in the day that once tracks are mixed, they can't be unmixed anymore. But you know, back in the day was a different world altogether.)

ElevenLabs and Murf.AI both offer a dubbing feature, but ElevenLabs worked much better for this than Murf AI. For some weird reason Murf even turned the frame upside down and the voices sounded very robotic. ElevenLabs did a decent job, and adjusted the lipsynch quite well too.

We might sound like a broken record, but the best tool for that will again be Elevenlabs because the company has focused on voice generation already before the big AI hype and has been around for a while perfecting their art. Then in fall 2025 they added their AI music generation feature and in November upgraded once again by bringing AI video and image generation into their tool through various model integrations.

Artlist is a great candidate for that because they started off as a huge music library for film makers and have now jumped very successfully on the AI train bu adding AI voice generation alongside video and image gen. We're slowly getting closer to this, because voice generation has gotten so good. But I wouldn't really recommend it just yet. With Skywork you could let AI generate the whole podcast from beginning to end, I've tested this and had a 6 minute podcast that was ok content wise, and very good speech wise. The problem is just: if you can generated it with AI, then others can do and the algorithm sort these productions out as AI slop. If you just want to use AI voices for the voice itself, but not to create the content, you can try Elevenlabs or Hume. Both have very realistic voices, which are hard to tell from humans.

That's a tough one for the moment. You can be lucky with Elevenlabs and get a good laugh out of it, but as always with generative AI it might take a few tries to get exactly what you want. A trick you could use is to record the laugh you want and then just clone your voice to the one you want.
