How I Tested These AI Agents

Credits work differently than you might expect. More specific prompts actually cost fewer credits. Instead of asking your AI agent to search everywhere, give it a defined list to work from. My task ran much better once I narrowed the search to specific categories rather than leaving it open-ended.
Security is handled in the cloud. AI agents run in secure cloud environments, not on your computer. Your data stays in their infrastructure with guardrails in place.
Integrations can break easily. Connecting AI agents to other apps through Zapier or Make.com works but isn't reliable. When these connections break, your whole workflow stops.

What I Learned from Testing AI Agents
None of the AI agents could connect to my email and save drafts. Not a single one managed this basic task. Filtering out competitor blogs was genuinely hard for them, though I could have been clearer in my instructions. The authority score lookup was challenging since most tools require paid access, but some AI agents handled it better than others.
How you set up your workflow matters as much as which AI agent you pick. Vague prompts burn through credits fast. You need feedback loops to keep the AI agent on track. Work out your logic before letting it run - getting URLs first and filtering manually would have saved many wasted steps.

Some automation tools work differently by operating inside your existing systems like WhatsApp, giving direct access to your accounts and data. This makes them more flexible but also more dangerous. There are stories of automations deleting large datasets with no recovery option. With cloud-based AI agents, mistakes are usually fixable. With direct-access tools, they often aren't.
