Yes, you can! Mubert explicitly offers this feature in their toolbox. You'll have to sign up with a paid plan though, because Mubert will overlay the generations with an audio tag saying "Mubert". Also, you might have to try around a bit, for us it didn't sound great right away, but eventually we got there.

No, not really. Music generators are good with editing AI generated music, but for your podcast you'll have large audio files which you will not be able to further edit within a music generator platform. It makes more sense to upload your podcast recording to a tool like Descript or Garageband and edit it there. You can just download your podcast jingle from the music generator and then create a template in one of these platforms.

The only tool we know for sure that can do both is ElevenLabs/Eleven Music. There with one subscription you can beat two birds with one stone. As far as we know all other platforms focus on either one of the two.

It's quite impressive! We entered a very simple prompt for an R'n'B song and were provided with a nice song you could actually listen to on the radio. Nothing worth a Grammy, but 100% better than we could create ourselves (we're better with AI than with music). The nice thing is that they have a generous free trial and also a video editing suite plus a voice generation feature. They have been around for over 15 years, so they are not the new kid on the block trying to cash into the AI hype. The software is super solid and never crashes or generates only parts of a song (like Suno AI).

With most AI music generators, you can't, unfortunately. If we remember correctly, Suno AI allows the download of songs created on the free plan. If you just want to keep it for reference, you can audio record the song with the Quick Time player app, but don't try to monetise that music because you don't own the rights that way.

They both allow you to edit songs even after they've been created, which tools like Suno or Udio will not. So if you want to create songs and also add your own style, these two are a great choice.

No, or at least not yet. We tested this feature with Mubert and uploaded an image of two people looking at each other, one being a cyborg the other a woman. The background is space and the mood is friendly. Mubert interpreted this as a heavy metal instrumental piece, which we don't recommend listening to. Lol. But we're sure the technology will improve and as music is art and in the eye of the beholder, we don't want to sound too much like a negative Nancy.
