What we think about Canva (Voice Gen) Voice Generators
When we tested Canva (Voice Gen), we found that it offers around six different voice generator apps, but none of them really stand out in terms of quality. Canva’s voice generation is quite basic and is just one feature among many in their large suite of tools. While you can pick from several voice apps, they don’t come close to the professional results you get from tools like Artlist or Elevenlabs. Another thing to keep in mind is that Canva limits your daily credits for voice generation, even if you’re a Canva Pro subscriber. We mostly use Canva (Voice Gen) when we need a quick voiceover as a placeholder for a video project, especially if we can’t record our own voice yet. It’s helpful for getting the timing right during editing, but we wouldn’t rely on it for final, polished audio.
What users think about Canva (Voice Gen) + Voice Generators
Many users appreciate Canva (Voice Gen) for its convenience, especially since it’s built into the Canva platform and easy to access while working on other design projects. People like that it’s simple to use and doesn’t require any technical skills. However, users often mention that the voice quality is not as natural or professional as what you get from dedicated voice generator tools. Some find the limited daily credits frustrating, particularly for larger projects. Compared to competitors, Canva (Voice Gen) is seen as a good option for quick drafts or placeholders, but not for final production work. Users also note that while it’s handy for small businesses or individuals who need something fast, it’s not the best choice for those who want high-quality, realistic voiceovers. On the plus side, Canva (Voice Gen) offers 5GB of cloud storage as a free trial, so you can test it out and see if it fits your needs. Give Canva (Voice Gen) a try and let us know what you think!
