What we think about Synthesia AI Avatars

When we tested Synthesia, we found its performance as an AI avatar generator to be acceptable, though perhaps not entirely living up to its widespread reputation. Our experience with Synthesia was somewhat constrained due to the limited testing options provided. We were only able to utilize a single avatar for our evaluation, and the ability to customize the accent or voice was not available. The free trial for Synthesia is quite restricted, allowing for a script of only 200 characters and access to just three video templates. Furthermore, the video generated during the trial is sent as a link and cannot be downloaded, which unfortunately impacted the sound quality of our recorded screen capture. While the resulting video from Synthesia was decent, it didn't strike us as outstanding.
